Death
Carolyn Hill Honeycutt, age 68, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2021 surrounded by family. A native of Albemarle, she was a daughter of the late Boyd and Laura Hill. She was also preceded in death by her son Brian, brother Ricky Hill and niece Leah Hill. She is survived by brother Tommy Hill (Beth), sister Sharon Rhodes (Tim), niece Stephanie Hughes, nephews Tyler and Michael Rhodes and aunt and uncle Verla and Elbert Hopkins. Carolyn was a graduate of Albemarle Senior High and UNC-Chapel Hill. She retired from Stanly County DSS after a 30 year career. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. At her request, a private service will be held to honor Carolyn at a later date. Crawford/Ray Funeral Home in Canton, NC is honored to be caring for Carolyn.Endnotes
