Death

Glenn Ray Ezell, 85, of Hixson, died on Monday, June 10, 2013. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was an active member of Central Church of Christ, a World War II veteran, a DuPont retiree, and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, Marcus and Louise Ezell, and his wife Minnie of 62 years. He is survived by his daughters, Glenda Stout (Dale) and Cindy Furr (Bruce); his granddaughters, Stephanie Stout, Heather Stout, Lauren Ayers (Chris), Amanda Huggins (Hayes); his grandson, David Furr; his great-granddaughters, Ashley and Olivia Ayers; and his brother, Bobby Ezell. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, at the North Chapel. Funeral service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2013, at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel with his nephew Eddie Perry officiating. Entombment will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with military honors. Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153.
