Died 11:30 p.m. Monday, June 10, 1991, at Medical Center of Baton Rouge. She was 67, a
native of Baton Rouge and resident of Baker. She was a retired East Baton Rouge Parish School Board Food Service dietitian. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Visiting at First Baptist Church, Baker, 10 a.m. until religious services at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, conducted by the Rev. B.K. Miller and the Rev. Allen Johnson. Burial in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker. Survived by husband, A.T. Furr, Baker; a daughter, Lana Griffin, Baton Rouge; three sons, Troy Douglas and Thomas Lee Furr, both of Baton Rouge, and Roger Dale Furr, Baker; a sister, Eleanor Mae Watson, Baker; a son-in-law, Cary C. Griffin, Baton Rouge; two daughters-in-law, Susan Adams Furr and Gail Thompson Furr, both of Baton Rouge; four grandchildren, Heather Kay and Brandon Troy Griffin, Kelly Elizabeth and Joshua Thomas Furr; and four stepgrandchildren, James Wesley Ellis, Erin Rene and Lance Michael LeBlanc, and Leah Allison Rowell. Preceded in death by parents, Thomas J. and Effie Cabler Watson. Pallbearers will be Cary Hoover, Herbert Hoover, Don Ray Furr, Julius Furr, Gary Achee and Drew Achee. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Baker, charter member and past president of Pilot Club of Baker, East Baton Rouge Parish representative for State School Teachers Retirement Board and a member of Gideons Auxiliary.
