Death
Hazel Furr, 84, of Oklahoma City and formerly of McCurtain County passed away Feb. 27, 1993. She was a resident of the Oklahoma City area since 1946 after moving from McCurtain County. She was born Sept. 9, 1908, in Hope, Ark. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Melvin Franklin Walker, in 1940, and A.D. Furr, in 1983. She is survived by five daughters, Lorraine Parham, Sybil Jennings, Nita Alexander, all of Oklahoma City, Oleta Willoughby of Houston, Texas, and Ora Lee Brown of San Antonio, Texas; one brother, Vernon Logan of Wright City; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Hunter Memory Chapel with interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Oklahoma City.McCurtain Daily Gazette, Idabel, Oklahoma, March 9, 1993
