Death
Gracie May Furr, 9, died Sunday night at the residence near Luverne. Surviving are her parents Mr. and Mrs. Henry Furr, a brother and sister, also her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Sexton of Highland Home. Funeral service was held Monday at 3 p. m. from the Sweetwater church with the Rev. Gafford officiating. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery with Turner Brothers Funeral Home in charge.The Luverne Journal and News, Luverne, Alabama, August 27, 1941
