Death

Allie Faile Taylor Mrs. Taylor, 98, of Pineville, died Wednesday, December 8, 2004. She was born on May 15, 1906 in Pageland, SC to the late John I. Faile and Alice Belk Faile. Mrs. Taylor was a homemaker and member of Stough Memorial Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Ward Taylor and a daughter, Olethia Hamby. Survivors include her children, Heyward and Lola Taylor of Pineville, Fred and Nan Taylor of Charlotte, Ray and Flo Taylor of Clover, SC, Randy Taylor of Pineville, Elaine Furr of Pineville, Joyce Begbie of Pineville, and Doris Burr of Rock Hill, SC; 18 grandchildren; and 29 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 11, 2004 at Stough Memorial Baptist Church with the Reverend Chris Gulledge, Reverend Rodney Cripps and Reverend Steve All officiating. Mrs. Taylor will lie in state at the church 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow at Westside Cemetery in Lancaster, SC. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM on Friday, December 10, 2004 at the Pineville Chapel of McEwen Funeral Service.
