Cyndy Perkins Laird, 54, of Dallas, passed away Friday, June 8, 2012, in Texarkana. A memorial service will held at a later date. Cyndy was a real estate broker for Coldwell Banker in the Dallas area. She was born Dec. 31, 1957, in Bellville, Texas, to Ernest and Mary Furr Perkins. She was preceded in death by her father. Survivors include herdaughter, Rachel Makowsky of Lewisville; son, Reid Makowsky of Waco; sisters, Cathy McCoy and Caren Perkins; mother, Mary Furr Perkins; step-mother, Mary Lou Perkins; step-sisters, Cindy Morton and husband, Charlie, and Donita Williamson and husband, James; aunt, Wynell Mosley; aunt and uncle, Jackie and Rodney Bethune; cousins, Mary Ann McDonald and husband, Dave, and Nan Reaves; and numerous other relatives and friends.Published in Waco Tribune-Herald on June 13, 2012
