Death

Clara Phyllis McDaris, 79, of Tulsa, died Friday May 25, 2012 in St Francis Hospital. She was born in Muskogee to Richard and Carrie (Furr) Hopson. Clara attended schools in Muskogee and graduated from Central High School. She worked for the Wagoner Public Schools for several years as a secretary for the principal. A devoted and loving mother with a beautiful smile. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church. Clara was survived by her daughters Debbie and husband Kirk Brawley of Oklahoma City, Tammy McDaris of Broken Arrow, Mindy Drennan of Tulsa. Grandchildren Dustin and Daniel Brawley, Stephanie and Natalie Pena, Austin and Britan Drennan, Sister Leon Baldwin of Fla., and nephew James Hopson. Clara was preceded in death by her husband Ken and by her parents also by 5 brothers and sisters. Services will be 1:00 P.M., Tuesday May 29, 2012, at Bradley Belltower Chapel. Honorary pallbearers will be Dustin Brawley, Daniel Brawley, Austin Drennan, James Hopson. The family entrusted services to Bradley Funeral Service of Muskogee.
