Death
J. Paul White received word this morning of the sudden death of his sister, Mrs. W. A. Furr, 75, that occurred at 3:30 o'clock this morning at her home in Tupelo. She is survived by her husband, W. A. Furr, two sons and five daughters; a sister, Mrs. J. S. Calloway of Harlengin, Texas, and two brothers, D. D. White of Oxford and J. P. White, Grenwood. The funeral will be held at the family home in Tupelo tomorrow afternoon. Burial will in Tupelo Cemetery. Mrs. Furr was a native of Lafayette County, living near Oxford until twenty-five years ago when she moved to Tupelo. She was a member of the Methodist church. Mr. White is planning to leave this afternoon to attend the funeral rites.The Greenwood Commonwealth, Greenwood, Mississippi, June 18, 1943
