George is survived by his wife, Bergleod "Bunny" Chandler of Satellite Beach, FL; his children, Brady Chandler, Hank Chandler (Boneta), and Suzi Pulliam of Kannapolis, NC; Patti Martin (Rod), Tony Chandler (Aliz), and Debbie Furr of Hubert; NC; and George Chandler, III (Karen) of Orlando, FL; many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren; his brother and sisters, Jim Chandler, Janice Price, and Birdie Daniels. George was preceded in death by his previous spouse, Geraldine Chandler, and his oldest daughter, Libby Messimer. George was the son of George Paul Chandler, Sr and Laura McGhee Furr. He was born in Concord, NC on April 26, 1932. George was a retired electronics technician. George was a devoted son, husband, father, and grandfather. His viewing, funeral, and entombment will be October 10, 2017 at 11:00 am at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home in Jacksonville, FL.
