FURR, Mr. Tommy Lawrence, 53, a resident of Highland Home died Monday November 21, 2011. Mr. Furr is surivived by two children, Emily (Matt) Hester and Cylde (Valla) Furr; five grandchildren, Alex Benbow, MaKayla Furr, Madison Hester, KateLynne Furr and Ti Furr; father, Lamar Furr; grandmother, Frances Boozer; three sisters, Mary Sue Jernigan, Linda Howard and Deborah Furr; three brothers, Willie F. Furr, Keith A. Furr, and Jason L. Furr; and a number of nieces and nephews. No memorial service has been scheduled.Crenshaw County -- A two-vehicle crash this morning claimed the life of a Luverne man. on Crenshaw County 30. Tommy Lawrence Furr, 53, of Luverne was killed when the farm tractor he was driving collided with a 2003 Ford Taurus driven by Richard Stead, 53, of Greenville. Stead was not injured. Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash, and no additional information is available.
