York, South Carolina - Mrs. Phyllis Timmons Daves, 81 passed away Sunday, May 16, 2021 at her home in York, SC, surrounded by her loving family. A celebration of her life service will be held at a later date. Born in York, Mrs. Daves was preceded in death by her children, Dania Sutton, Lynn Furr, Joe A Daves, Jr.; her parents, Oscar Lee Timmons and Cleo Sutton Timmons. She worked with her ex-husband at Joe Daves Farms and was a cosmetologist. She was a loving mother, grandmother, loved her dogs and cooking Survivors include her daughter, Michelle "Miki" Daves (Eric) of York; grandson, Wyatt Ingram of York; granddaughters, Darian Newton (Josh) of Hickory Grove, SC, and Jami Waters (Brandon) of York; 10 great-grandchildren. The family requests memorials be made to Providence Care Hospice 500 Lakeshore Pkwy, Rock Hill, SC 29730.Published in The Herald on May 18, 2021.
