Death

Paul Harold Hastings, 72, of Hartselle went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 23, 2011, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born October 15, 1939, in Milesburg, PA, to Lee and Maude Yorks Hastings. He was a retired supervisor with the United States Postal Service, a U.S. Air Force veteran and a Christian man. Funeral services for will be Tuesday, December 27, 2011, at 11:00 am at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Hal Daigre officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday evening at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife; Dawn L. Hastings, one son; Christopher Hastings of Elkton, TN, two daughters; Cheryl Hobbs and husband David of Lawrenceburg, TN. and Laurie Furr of Hartselle, two brothers; Don & Helen Hastings of Bellefonte, PA. and Alan & Marylou Hastings of Warner Robbins, GA., one grandson; Anthony Hobbs, three granddaughters; Jolie Hobbs, Morgan Furr and Autumn Bailey and one great grandson; Bobby Ballenger.
