Death
FURR, Mrs. Lillie McVay a resident of Montgomery for the past 38 years, died unexpectedly at home, 61 Sayre Street, Thursday afternoon. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Lodge 108. Surviving are a son; Cecil E. Furr, Montgomery, four brothers, H. L. and C. C. McVay, both of Jackson, Ala., C. R. McVay, Loxley, Ala., and J. T. McVay, Monroeville, Ala.; two sisters, Mrs. A. Z. Pritchett, Moulton, Ala. and Mrs. C. L.. McDonald, Jackson, Ala. Funeral services will be held from White Chapel Saturday at 2 p.m. Burial will in Greenwood Cemetery.Alabama Journal, Montgomery, Alabama, November 17, 1950
