Death

Leonard “Andy” Anderson, of Springtown, TX died August 20, 2011. He was born February 7, 1927 in Irving, and was a resident of Irving most of his life until moving to Springtown in 2004.  He was employed as a security guard at the Imperial Courtyard Apartments for many years.  Andy was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving during World War II.  He was preceded in death by his parents John Anderson and Maudie Anderson Roseberry; brothers, Bobby Roseberry and Bill Anderson; and son, Terry Jackson.  He is survived by his wife, Rose Anderson of Springtown; daughters Chrumaine Chowdhury and husband Bacchu of Arlington, Belinda Pope of Waco, Jackie Furr and husband Bryan of Irving, Sheila Ann Helms and husband Phil of Springtown, and Melissa Kay Jackson of Dallas; son, King Lee Anderson and wife Tiffany of Springtown; 18 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; brothers, Buddy Anderson and Floyd Anderson; longtime friend Weldon Price of Ft Worth; and his precious Tinker Bell Anderson.  A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at 3:30 PM in Brown’s Memorial Chapel, officiated by Pastor Carl Robins. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 3:30 PM at the funeral home, prior to the service.
