The Anderson (IN) Herald Bulletin, Saturday, April 11, 1987GREENFIELD--Pauline "Aunt Polly" (Porter) Garrett, 80, 3980 E. 600N, died Friday afternoon at the Hancock Memorial Hospital in Greenfield following a brief illness. She was a former Mount Pleasant, N. C. resident and was born in Cabarrus County, NC. She was a longtime member of the Concord North Carolina Center, United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, Glenn Garrett; a stepson, Ralph E. Garrett, of Greenfield; a stepdaughter Sarah Erwin of Lapel; two sisters, Adele Newman of Salisbury, N.C. and Vivian Penninger of Concord, N. C. a nephew; several step grandchildren; several step great grandchildren; and several step great-great grandchildren. Services will be 8 p.m. Sunday at the Condo and Sons Funeral Home in Wilkinson with the Rev. Gene Voss and the Rev. Edith Bruner officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Concord, N. C. Friends may call from 2 p.m. until the time of the service Sunday at the funeral home.
