Death
Charles E. Moseley – a native of Washington Co., AL and resident of Oklahoma for the past fifteen years. He was a graduate of the University of Alabama School of Law in 1969, where he was a scholarship recipient and track athlete. He received the Hugo Friedman award. Mr. Moseley worked for the Bureau of Land Management as a Smokejumper, mostly in Oregon and Alaska. He also worked with Air America as an Air Freight Specialist (aka Kicker), and then later worked in the Wildcat Oil Industry. He is survived by three children, John (Briana) Moseley, Colorado Springs, CO, Molly (Richard) Peterson, Fairhope, AL, and Casey (Burke) Armistead, Saraland, AL; mother of his children, Jean Furr Moseley; two brothers, Bob Moseley, Mobile, AL, and Billy (Loretta) Moseley, Fruitdale, AL; one sister, Bonnie Onderdonk, Hobson, AL; five grandchildren, Amelia and Ally Moseley, Audrey and Clark Peterson, and Jared Armistead; nieces, nephews and other relatives. A private memorial service will be held by his family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to .
