Shirley Ann Haynes, 71, of Scranton, died Saturday, October 2, 2010 in Paris, Arkansas. She was born August 22, 1939 in Des Moines, Iowa. Shirley was a homemaker and a Baptist. She is survived by her husband, George Haynes; a son, Douglas Haynes of Smithville; daughters, Janie Hall of Paris and Gay Lynn Pitts of Lamar; 2 sisters, Jenny and Loretta; 18 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Memory Furr; a son, Matthew Haynes; 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 5, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home, Bald Knob. Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Shady Grove Cemetery.
