Death

STANFIELD -Vickie Lee Green Cape, 59, of Stanfield, passed away Nov. 30, 2009, at Stanly Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Cape was born Jan. 28, 1950, in Cabarrus County and was a cashier at Wal-Mart in Lincolnton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ricky Lee Cape; father Aubry Barnhardt; mother Nina Pearl Green Burleson; and brother Morrison Burleson. Visitation will be Thursday, Dec. 3, 9:30 – 11 a.m., Hartsell Funeral Home, Midland, with the funeral service following at 11 a.m. in the chapel, Dr. Darrell Nance officiating. Survivors include her companion, Rick Shook of Vale; daughter, Sherry Furr and husband, Billy, of Stanfield; son, Bobby Russell and wife, Regina, of Concord; brother, Sean Burleson of Concord; sisters, Jackie Hooks of Concord and Lisa Huneycutt of Salisbury; best friend for 15 years, Linda Foster; and grandchildren Dylan Furr, Arkadian Russell, and Leland Russell. Hartsell Funeral Home, Midland, is serving the Cape family.
