Death

FORD - Mildred Ann (McCombs), Mildred went to be with the Lord Thursday evening, January 15th, 2009 in Elko NV. Mildred was born November 13, 1941, in Broken Arrow, OK to Walter and Lola McCombs. Mildred was a graduate of the 1960 Class of Daniel Webster High School and the Tulsa Academy of Cosmetology. She spent the first 50 years of her life in the Tulsa area before she went west to be with her 3 sons in Nevada. Mildred enjoyed many activities throughout her active life. She was an avid bowler, gardener, traveler, business owner and most of all a cherished mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Mildred is survived by: sons, Denny, Jeff and Eric Ford; daughter-in-law, Jackie Ford; grandchildren Casey, Alley, and Conner Ford, Alicia Daniels, Beth and Michelle Scott; great-grandchild, Riley Ford of Elko NV. She is also survived by siblings, Jessie, Cleon and Larry McCombs, Emma Oakley, Lana McGuire, Marline Evans and Maxine Bar of Tulsa OK. Mildred was preceded in death by her mother and father, Walter and Lola McCombs (Furr); siblings, Leotta O'Bryan, Janet Hall, Susie Dearman and Tony McCombs. A memorial service will be held this Saturday January 24, 2009, 1:30 p.m., at the Tulsa Family Church 2021 North Joplin Tulsa OK 74115. God Bless you Mom, watch over us all, as we will join you soon.
