Survivors are his wife, Mary; son, Steve Cooke of Pittsboro; daughters, Mrs. Marilyn Barringer of Mount Pleasant, Mrs. Susan Greene; brother, Ray Cooke of San Diego, Calif.; sisters, Mrs. Hassie Tucker of Albemarle, Mrs. Mildred Honeycutt of Locust, Mrs. Grace Cabe of Mocksville, Mrs. Jane Joyner, Mrs. Lucy Troutman, Mrs. Sally Troutman.
