CHILDRESS - Shirley Loretta Keys, 66, died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2008. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with her nephew, Mark Keys, officiating. Burial will be in Childress Cemetery. Shirley was born June 5, 1942, in Childress, to Earl and Mary Furr Keys. She especially loved her nieces and nephews, sports and John Wayne memorabilia. Survivors include two sisters, Betty Jo Hoos of Childress and Cleta Ann Peterson of Casa Grande, Ariz.; and six brothers, J.C. Keys, Neal Keys and Gene Keys, all of Childress, Gerald Don Keys of Glen Flora, Jerry Keys of Austin and Larry Keys of Sunset.Amarillo Globe-News, November 4, 2008
