Death

ROCKWELL - Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Little Furr, 83, of 5099 Phaniel Church Road, passed away Monday, July 21, 2008, at CMC-NorthEast. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Kerr Memorial Baptist Church, with the Rev. John Setchfield officiating. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Wilkinson Funeral Home, and will be at 5120 Pless Road, Rockwell, the remaining time. Mrs. Furr was born June 14, 1925, in Cabarrus County, daughter of the late Watt A. and Daisy Trull Little. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Evander Kay Furr; and brothers, Bob and George Little. Mrs. Furr retired from Cannon Mills and was a member of Kerr Memorial Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school for many years. Survivors include her daughter, Linda F. Trull of Rockwell; son, Ronald D. Furr of Danville, Va.; brother, Bill Little of Concord; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
