Rock Hill - Mrs. Debra "Debbie" Lynn Cook Vogel, 48, of 2889 Billy Wilson Road, died Saturday, June 7, 2008, at Carolina's Medical Center in Charlotte, N.C. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today, June 10, 2008, at Rock Hill First Pentecostal Holiness Church, with the Revs. Jerry Catledge and Olin Giles officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery. Mrs. Vogel was born in Rock Hill, S.C., and was a daughter of Gloria Totherow Hooks and the late Billy Ray Cook Sr. She attended Rock Hill First Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was a loving mother and homemaker. She is survived by her mother, Gloria Hooks and her stepfather, William Carson Hooks Jr. of Rock Hill; three sons, MM1(SW/AW) Glynyrd Carson Furr of Summerville, S.C., Jason Derrick Vogel of Rock Hill and Travis Elliott Vogel of Fort Lawn; one daughter, Glynda Marie Russell of Ashville, N.C.; three sisters, Sylvia Cook Broach of Rock Hill, Shelia Cook McMahan of Indian Land and Toni M. Privette of Chester; three brothers, Billy Ray Cook Jr., Danny Ray Cook Sr. and Jimmy Wayne Cook, all of Indian Land; and five grandchildren. Fort Mill Funeral Home is serving the family.
