Death
Joseph D. Furr Sept. 9, 1944 — April 26, 1999Joseph Dale Furr, 54, of Modesto died April 26 at Doctors Medical Center. Mr. Furr was a lifelong resident of Modesto. He worked at Foster Farms and Tri Valley Growers. He was a member of the Salvation Army Church. He is survived by his children, Ricky Furr of Madera, David Furr, Michael Furr, Sandra Furr, Heather Furr and Caroline Furr, all of Modesto; brothers, Billy Furr and James William Furr, both of Modesto; sisters, Edith Furr and Ann Schaffer, both of Missouri; and seven grandchildren. A memorial will be conducted at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Eaton Family Funeral Home. Remembrances may be made to the Salvation Army Corps, 625 St., Modesto 95354.
