EDGEMOOR - Mrs. Ellen Keeffe Furr, 79, of 2044 Mavis T. Drive, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, April 29, 2008, at her home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Independent Bible Baptist Church, with Pastor Jason Coley officiating. Burial will follow in the Flint Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Furr was the daughter of the late James J. and Lillie Love Keeffe and a native of Pineville. She was retired from Cone Mills Pineville Plant after 47 years of employment and a member of Independent Bible Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Hoyle E. Furr; two daughters, Patricia F. Bradshaw and Angela Ann Grant; one sister, Lavinia Harper; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends tonight at the church from 6 until 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to Hospice & Community Care, P.O. Box 993, Rock Hill, S.C., 29731.
