CONCORD -- Imogene 'Jean' Bost Furr, 83, died March 28, 2008. Arrangements are incomplete at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home, Landis. Published in the Charlotte Observer on 3/29/2008.HUNTERSVILLE - Imogene (Jean) Bost Furr passed away March 28, 2008, at Levine & Dickson of Huntersville. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, July 13, 2008, in the Colonial Chapel of Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home in Landis. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Furr was born July 12, 1924, in Rowan County, the daughter of the late Lena Hinson Bost and the late Harry Bost. She attended Landis High School and Kings Business College. Mrs. Furr worked for Fredrickson Motor Express and was a secretary for Bill Fredrickson. She worked in the office for Electra Data Business Forms. Jean was very congenial and loved to have fun with her friends, especially celebrating special occasions and traveling. She was an expert in decorating and having a beautiful yard. One of her favorite aspects was God's creation of the outdoors and fishing. She loved God, her church and her home. Her courage and optimism were endless during the long illness. She will be greatly missed. Survivors include a sister, Donna Bost Graham of Chicago; three nephews, Robert (Alexandra) Graham and Mark Graham of California, Jordan (Andrea) Graham of Colorado; four grand nieces, Summer and Charlotte Graham of California, Rary and Alia Graham of Colorado.
