Death
Ruby L. Furr, 84, South East Kansas City, MO, died November 16, 2005, at St. Joseph Hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m., Monday, November 21, at Newcomer's Floral Hills Chapel. Burial in Floral Hills Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-6 p.m., Sunday, at the chapel. The family suggests contributions to the Loma Vista Baptist Church. Ruby was an active member at Loma Vista Baptist Church. She enjoyed oil painting, gardening, and cheering on her Kansas City Chiefs. Her greatest enjoyment in life came from spending time with her family. Preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Marvin R. "Dick" Furr. Survivors include son, Don Furr, Lee's Summit, MO; daughters, Jan Hall, Sunrise Beach, MO, Teri Marrs and Becky Harris, Blue Springs, MO; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.Endnotes
