Death

Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, Ruby Jackson Furr, went to join her husband in heaven on January 18, 2008 at the age of 86 years. Born March 6, 1921 the fourth child of eight born to Andrew Carl Jackson and Josephine Kathryn Tam. Preceded in death by her loving husband Noah R. Furr, brothers Marion Jackson, Henry Jackson, Philip Jackson, sisters Louise Vander-Martin, Josephine Wilkerson, great-grandson Kevin Castillo and dear friend Ira Talley. She is survived by her children Carolyn Campbell, companion Joel Perkins, Gerald Bloxham and wife Jane, Roger Bloxham and wife Gwen, and Nancy Bloxham; 13 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Lung Association. Special Thanks to the nurses at Vitas. SERVICES Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2008 at 5:00 P.M. Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 25, 2008 at 1:00 P.M.
