Death
KANNAPOLIS - Mrs. Grace Lee Helms Furr, 81, of 406 Walker Ave. died April 6, 1993, at Cabarrus Memorial Hospital. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Whitley's Funeral Home. Interment will be in Carolina Memorial Park Mausoleum. A native of Union County, she was a former Trull Clinic of Chiropractic employee and a member of Shady Brook Baptist Church, where she was a former Sunday-school teacher. Surviving are husband, H. Sanford Furr; son, Sanford D. Furr of Greensboro; sister, Ruby H. Tysor of Greensboro; brother, M. Dowd Helms of Charlotte; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. The family will be at the funeral home 7-8:30 tonight. Contributions may be made to Shady Brook Baptist Church, 1009 Oakwood Ave., Kannapolis, N.C. 28081.Greensboro News and Record, April 8, 1993
