SOUTHMONT — Betty Lou Cooper Furr, 60, of Sherwood Drive, died at 7.27 pm Wednesday, March 10, 1993, at Lexington Memorial Hospital after a serious illness of a week. The funeral will be at 11 am Saturday at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, Lexington, conducted by the Rev Clyde Akers. Burial will be at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will be the funeral home tonight from 7 to 9 and the remainder of the time at the home of her son, David Furr, Holloways Church Road, Southmont. Born April 10, 1932, in Davidson Count, Mrs Furr was a daughter of the late Mack and Essie Bell Cooper. She was a homemaker. Survivors, in addition to her son, include her husband, Leroy Franklin Furr, three brothers, Vestal, Archie and Paul Cooper, all of Lexington, two sisters, Mrs James (Mary) Stoker of Southmont and Irene Everhart of Lexington, and two grandchildren.
