Death

Lynda Jane Furr Mrs. Furr, 64 of Charlotte, passed away at home on December 30, 2007. She was born on February 5, 1943 in Charlotte NC. Mrs. Furr is survived by her husband, Richard 'Rick' Furr and five sons, Richard Furr Jr. and wife Michelle, Timothy Paul Furr and wife Kelly, Jonathan Michael Furr and wife Diana, Darryl Patrick Furr and wife Wendy, and Joshua Blake Furr, all of Charlotte. In addition Lynda is survived by four brothers, Wayne Saxton, Don Saxton, Jimmy Saxton, and Tommy Saxton, 11 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Furr was preceded in death by her parents, James Coley Saxton and Lois Farmer Saxton, and three brothers, Larry Saxton, Johnny Saxton, and Billy Saxton. The family will have a graveside service to celebrate the life of Lynda Furr Wednesday, January 2, 2008 beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Sharon Memorial Park. The family has asked that memorials may be made to Hospice at Charlotte, 1420 East 7th Street, Charlotte, NC 28204. The Furr family has entrusted the arrangements for Mrs. Furr to McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon Memorial Park, 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte, NC 28212 (704-334-6421).
