Orville Dee Buchanan, 71, of Hattieville, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2016, at St. Vincent's at Morrilton. He was born September 4, 1945, in Florence, Arizona, son of Orvel and Viola Sewell Buchanan. He was a retired truck driver. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Patsy M. Buchanan; son, Wayne Buchanan and wife Trish; daughter, Becky A. Teeples; brothers, James Buchanan, David Buchanan and wife Connie; sister, Elizabeth Buchanan; 4 step children, Bobbie Jean Jones, Timothy Furr, Shannon Furr, William L. Phillips; grandchildren, 20 Plus; great grandchildren 30 plus. Funeral Service will be 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Lemley Chapel in Atkins with Gary Pettit officiating. Burial will be at Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before service. Pallbearers will be William Perrin, Bud Teeples, Chris Davis, David Buchanan, Jack Davis, Billy Carl Davis.
