Death
Emma Gene Studie, 85, of Quitman passed from this world on Thursday, December 27th. Born in North Little Rock to parents Emmit and Ozzie Mae Furr, Gene was a lifelong resident of Arkansas. A retired Banker, Gene loved life on the lake. She was an awesome “from scratch” cook specializing in Christmas Divinity as well as an expert seamstress. She was a member of the Baring Cross Baptist Church. Gene is preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband, Harold Studie. She is survived by many friends who loved her dearly. A private interment will be held at Rest Hills Memorial Park at a later date.Endnotes
