KANNAPOLIS — Mary Edwards Furr, 78, formerly of 2503 S. Main St., died Thursday (Aug. 29, 1996) at Avante of Concord Nursing Center. Born Feb. 11, 1918, in Rowan County, she was a daughter of the late E.M. and Jane Davis Edwards. Retired after 20 years with What-A-Burger, she was a member of Flow-Harris Presbyterian Church. Survivors include son Edward R. Little, Concord; sisters Estelle Leazer and Erma Lee Cline, both of Concord, and Louise Potts, Asheboro; and two grandchildren.The Salisbury Post, Salisbury, North Carolina, August 30, 1996
