Death
Furr, Brooks Beasley, age 98, passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2012. Mrs. Furr is survived by her four children, Ruth Owens of Prattville, AL., Dutson Furr of Cantonment, FL., Byron Furr of Montgomery, AL., Rachel McKenzie of Montgomery, AL.; seven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; three half-sisters and one half brother. Graveside services will be held in Greenwood Cemetery on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at 3:00 pm with Rev. Dan Harrison officitaing. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at Leak Memory Chapel. Leak Memory Chapel Directing.Published in the Montgomery Advertiser on September 11, 2012
