Kingsport Times News, October 29, 1944Mr. Pursley, who came here 11 years ago from Asheville, is a former employee of the Tennesee Eastman Corporation and at the time of his death was employed at the Holston Ordinance Works. He was amember of the Masonic Lodge, the Maple Street Methodist church and the Bristol ELks Club.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs.Willie Mae Pursley; a sister, Mrs. Joe Johnson of Weaversville, NC; and two brothers, Robert Pursley, Charleston , SC; Clarence B. Pursley, US Army.
