Death

Hallie Helen Rowell Leviner, 64, of Laurinburg died Tuesday (Jan. 7, 2003) at Scotland Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Boles Funeral Home Chapel in Laurinburg with the Rev. Dwayne Haynes anda the Rev. Bobby Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow at Sycamore Hill Church cemetery. Mrs. Leviner was born Dec. 12, 1938 in Robeson County to the late James T. and Peggy W. Rowell. She was a homemaker and a member of Laurel Hill Full Gospel Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Stacey Locklear. Surviving are her husband, David Leviner; a son, Christopher P. Locklear of Laurinburg; a daughter, Karen L. Furr and her husband, Kenneth of Lakeview; brothers, J.T. Rowell of Wagram and J.W. Rowell of Maxton; sisters, Earline Bacon and Clairine Johnson, both of Wagram and Josephine Furr of Red Springs; three grandchildren, Nicole Locklear, Kimberly Furr and Kellie Furr.
