KENNEDY, JR., CLAUDE LEE of Richardson, Texas passed away Thursday, April 24th. Mr. Kennedy was born November 3, 1924 in Wilkes County, NC. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Laura Sloop Kennedy; one son, Fred Kennedy of Plano, Texas; daughters Donna Jo Kennedy of Clemmons, NC and Debbie Kennedy Furr of Wilkesboro, NC; and 2 grandchildren Steven Kennedy Furr and Shannon Kennedy Furr. Claude Kennedy graduated from North Carolina State University and was a sergeant in the Air Force and served during WW II in Europe. A memorial service will be held at Scenic Memorial Gardens in Wilkesboro, NC next week.
