Tuesday, March 28, 2006 - Bernice Sides McGhee, 64, of 208 N. Broome St., Albemarle, died at 4:08 p.m. Saturday, March 25, 2006, in Stanly Memorial Hospital. Her funeral will be at 3 p.m. today in Stanly Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Rodney Hughes and Glenn Sides will officiate and burial will be in Fairview Memorial Park, Born April 29, 1941, in Stanly County, she was a daughter of the late Postle and Hilda Furr Sides and was a retired employee of Wiscassett Hosiery Mill. She was first married to Marvin Coble and second to Ronald McGhee, both of whom preceded her in death. She is survived by two sons, Douglas W. Coble of Asheville and Kevin Mc-Ghee of Albemarle; five daughters, Debra Coble, Shelia Coble, Marla Coble, Rhonda McGee and Tammy Sellers, all of Albemarle; two brothers, Glenn Sides and Johnny Sides, both of Albemarle; a sister, Kathy Sue Smith of Lilesville; and 11 grandchildren. Stanly Funeral Home was in charge.
