CONCORD -- Erika Marie Walsh, two-month-old daughter of Eric Joshua and Keisha Bernice Carpenter Walsh of 740 Sir Raleigh Drive, died Saturday (June 22, 2002) at NorthEast Medical Center. The infant was born April 16, 2002, in Cabarrus County. Survivors, in addition to her parents, include paternal grandparents John and Rita Rary, Concord; maternal grandparents, Rick and Peggy Furr, Concord; great-grandparents David and Frances Walsh, Concord, George and Phyllis Rinehardt, Salisbury, Lee Roy Hall, Kannapolis, Frank and Dean Rary, Badin, Bernice Carroll, Concord, and William Lee Furr, Locust; great-great-grandparents Bessie Almond, Concord, and Frankie and EverettLambert, Salisbury. Services: 1 today, Whitley's Funeral Home chapel, Kannapolis, conducted by the Rev. Ottis Snow. Burial, Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis. Visitation: 12-1 today at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at the home of John and Rita Rary, 647 Firecrest Drive.
