MIDLAND - Hoyle “Buck” Delane Clontz, 68, of 3901 Pine Leaf Circle, died Friday, Jan. 30, 2004, at NorthEast Medical Center. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hartsell Funeral Home, Midland. The Rev. Ray Rippy will officiate. Burial will be at West Concord Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home. At other times they will be at the residence. Born Dec. 7, 1935, in Union County, he was the son of the late Bessie Jane Wilson Clontz and John Lester Clontz. Survivors include his wife, Wilma Clontz of Midland; a son Ronnie Clontz and wife Cathie of Denver, N.C.; two brothers, Meril Clontz of Monroe and Bland Clontz of Lancaster, S.C.; two sisters, Fodie Furr of Concord and Dean Price of Indian Trail; two granddaughters, Tanya Clontz and Keely Clontz. Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is in charge of arrangements.
