Death
Graveside services were held Tuesday at Highland Cemetery for Bertha Deaux Furr, 99, of Hattiesburg, who died April 5, 2003, at Forrest General Hospital. Mrs. Furr was a nurse’s aide and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Enoch Furr, and a daughter, Ouida Bryant. Survivors include her son-in-law, James W. Bryant of Petal, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Moore Funeral Home of Hattiesburg was in charge of arrangements.Hattiesburg American, Hattiesburg, Mississippi, April 16, 2003
