Death
Brenda Sue Furr VanHoy, age 80, passed away January 21, 2024 with family by her side. She was born in Concord April 13, 1943 to the late Wesley “George” David Furr and Ettra Little Furr. Brenda loved sewing, quilting, studying the Bible, and music. She was a bookkeeper in the parts industry, lifetime career with Brown & Morrison. Those left to cherish her memories are her loving husband of 59 years, Bill VanHoy; her children, Charlotte VanHoy Reid and husband Timothy, and Wesley VanHoy and wife Lisa; her siblings, twin sister Linda Almond and Curtis Furr; and grandchild Kaitlyn VanHoy. Brenda is predeceased by her siblings Rachael Furr and Dorothy Furr Untz. Brenda will be laid to rest at Carolina Memorial Gardens. Cabarrus Funeral Cremation and Cemetery is honored to be serving the VanHoy family.Endnotes
