Death

Eva Beatrice Lunsford Furr of Charlotte, died Friday, May 10, 1996, at Presbyterian Hospital. Born August 25, 1920, a daughter of Benard and Olive Murray Lunsford, Mrs. Furr was a longtime resident of Charlotte. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church, Fancy Free Senior Citizens, and Order of Eastern Star. She was a devoted homemaker. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday, May 13, 1996 at Harry and Bryant Company. Interment will be in Sharon Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 4-5:30 p.m. Survivors include her husband, Thomas B. Furr Sr.; a son, Thomas B. Furr Jr., of Charlotte; a daughter, Judith Nalle Furr Caston, Union, SC; a sister, Mrs. Vista Hunt of Walhalla, SC; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Southside Baptist Church, 301 Elmhurst Road, Charlotte 28209. Harry and Bryant Company is serving the family of Mrs. Furr.
