Death

Bedie June White Byars "Aunt Bea" passed away May 3 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family in Charlotte N.C. Bea was born May 21 1931 in North Carolina to the late Junius Neal White and Bedie Furr White. She was preceded in death by her long time husband Charles E Byars Sr. Bea was a loving wife and mother. Bea worked at Southern Appliance in her early years. She also spent many years working at the Big Dipper Restaurant where she greeted the Garinger High School students. Bea was also a newspaper supervisor/distributor where she watched over all of us paper route carriers Bea enjoyed singing in her church, crossword puzzles, and taking care of others. Those left to cherish her memory include her sons Charles Byars and Tim Byars with wife Diane Byars of Charlotte. Grandchildren Brittany Byars of Charlotte, Austin Byars of Kannapolis N.C. and Brian Davis of Charlotte. Great grandchildren Skylar Mcginnis and Baylynn Davis and numerous cousins of Midland and Concord N.C. Tribute and Tallent Funeral Services will be serving the family and will receive friends Friday May 12 at 12 pm at the funeral home with the funeral following at 1:00. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Charlotte.
