Death

Ronnie Wayne Adcock, 68, of China Grove, was born June 21, 1953. His parents, C.L. and Wilma Adcock of Kannapolis, preceded him in death. He was married to Toni Furr Adcock for 47 years and had two children, Michael Adcock (Krystle) and Mandy Isaac (Aaron). He had four grandchildren, Cameron, Kylie, Colton and Joseph. He had four brothers, Rodger Adcock (Jan), Glenn Adcock (who preceded him in death), David Adcock (Penny), and Curtis Adcock (Sherry). Ronnie had worked in Cannon Mills in his early years, then worked as a correctional officer for many years before going to Freightliner in Cleveland where he retired. He was also a concealed carry handgun instructor for 19 years. Ronnie was a member of Enochville Church of God. He loved to witness about God and wanted others to know God and to have a true relationship with Him. He also enjoyed painting as well as teaching his CCH classes. He had strong values of God, family and principles of what is right. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren. Ronnie looked forward to the day he would meet Jesus and that day came on August 27 where he is now with our heavenly Father. A graveside memorial will be held at a later date.
