Death
Mr. Roger “Mike” Furr, 45, of Charlotte died June 3, 1993, at home. Funeral is 11 a.m. Monday at Trinity Baptist Church, where he was a member. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation is 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Hankins & Whittington Funeral Home. Mr. Furr, a Charlotte native, was the director of security at Lost Prevention Services. He was a Vietnam Army veteran. Survivors are his wife, Linda; son, Michael Furr; daughter, Ms. Sue Furr; sister, Mrs. Mary Humphries; one grandson.The Charlotte Observer, Charlotte, North Carolina, June 5, 1993
