Death
Mrs. Mary McCall Furr, 67, of 74 Pinecrest Drive, Concord, died Sunday at Cabarrus Memorial Hospital. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at McEwen West Chapel with the Rev. Bob Green of Mount Airy officiating. Burial will be in Sharon Memorial Park. Mrs. Furr was born April 16, 1911 in Cabarrus County. Surviving are two sons, Bill F. Furr and J. Watson Furr of Charlotte,; four daughters, Mrs. Gene A. Foster of Concord, Mrs. Barbara Furr of Charlotte, Mrs. B.D. Lamb of Boise, Idaho, Mrs. Robert Flynn of Chesapeake, Va.; one sister, Miss Margaret McCall of Charlotte; one half-sister, Mrs. Cora Blackwelder of Concord. The family will receive friends from 7:30 to 9 tonight at McEwen Funeral Home.The Charlotte News, Charlotte, North Carolina, October 16, 1978
