KANNAPOLI8 — Dora Viola Furr Kiser, 79, of 1312 Browdis Ave, died Thursday (May 20, 1993) at Cabarrus Memorial Hospital. The funeral will be at 2 pm Saturday at Wilkinson Funeral Home Chapel, Concord, conducted by the Rev Gary Posey. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Concord. The family will be at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 8 30 and the rest of the time at the home of a daughter, Mary Cook Whitley of 1668 Old Charlotte Road, Concord. Memorials may be made to Victory Temple, 3101 Cline School Road, Concord, NC 28025. Born Sept 3, 1913 in Cabarrus County, Mrs Kiser was a daughter of the late Adam Milas and Mary Ruthie Ann Page Furr. A homemaker, she attended Victory Temple. Her husband, James Philas Kiser, died in 1967. Survivors include one other daughter, Linda Kiser Overcash of Kannapolis, four sons, Billy Ray Cook, James Milas Kiser and Kenneth Lee Kiser, all of Salisbury, and Jerry Wayne Kiser of Concord, two sisters, Eva Odessa Connell and Gatha Blackwelder, both of Concord, 12 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
